This was not only the final game of the 2016 season, but possibly the final game for the Chargers in San Diego...again.
The team came out and stunk up the field.
In the first quarter the Chargers drove down the field after receiving the opening kick off, but fizzled in the red zone and settled for a FG. The Chiefs responded with a drive that resulted in a FG of their own after Joey Bosa had a TFL and a sack in the same set of downs in the red zone. He’s good. DROY good.
The 2nd Chargers possession was a long, methodical drive that killed the rest of the 1st quarter and resulted in an Antonio Gates Touchdown reception that gave him 111 for his career, tying him with Tony Gonzalez for the lead all time in TD receptions for TE’s.
