The Chargers began Sunday in good health for Week 13.
Things changed in a hurry, with receiver Dontrelle Inman and cornerback Brandon Flowers exiting due to first-quarter injuries at Qualcomm Stadium.
Inman took an unflagged shot, helmet to helmet, from Denver Broncos safety David Bruton Jr.
Chargers medics strapped Inman to a stretcher and removed him on a cart.
Flowers went down later in the quarter after a teammate's hit knocked a player into his legs.
Chargers right tackle Joe Barkdale also departed in the first half. While trainers stretched him out on the sideline, his replacement, Tyreek Burwell, allowed a third-down sack of Philip Rivers.
