Chargers let another one slip away in road loss to Ravens

BALTIMORE – Another road game, another late-game loss for the San Diego Chargers, this one a 29-26 setback to the Baltimore Ravens.

The Chargers took a seven-point lead late in the third quarter on a 70-yard Malcom Floyd touchdown catch from Philip Rivers.

But San Diego couldn’t hold on, as the Ravens outscored them 10-3 in the fourth quarter.

The Chargers drove 49 yards on eight plays, with a Josh Lambo 49-yard field goal tying the game at 26-all with 2:27 left to play.

But the Ravens came right back, with Joe Flacco driving his team 59 yards on nine plays.
