We’ve finally got our first bit of news today regarding one of the Chargers open coordinator positions and it’s coming via a name some might not have heard of up to this point.
The Chargers have reportedly interviewed former NFL safety and current Broncos defensive backs coach Renaldo Hill for their defensive coordinator role, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. Hill has held that position for the past two seasons, including the 2019 season where he worked along new head coach Brandon Staley.
Hill also has stints coaching defensive backs with the Dolphins (2018) and the Steelers (2015-2017).
