According to Vincent Bonsignore of the Los Angeles Daily News, there’s smoke circulating that the Chargers like Notre Dame QB DeShone Kizer.
Earlier in the day, a report surfaced that Kizer is “in play“ for the Packers, who are getting interest for their No. 33 overall pick. Although, it’s still possible the Packers could hold onto the pick and take their preferred player to open round two.
The Chargers hold the No. 38 overall pick, so it’s possible that they could make the move up the board to get Kizer, assuming they’re actually interested in drafting him to sit behind Philip Rivers.
