Today, the San Diego Chargers officially hosted a workout with CFL star wide reciever Eric Rogers. Rogers made his initial NFL debut as an undrafted free agent out of Cal Lutheran with the Dallas Cowboys in 2013. After being cut loose after camp, the 6’3″, 210 lb weapon went up north and signed with the Calgary Stampeders. This season, he racked up 86 catches totaling 1,448 yards and 10 touchdowns. The 2015 CFL all-star will likely make his transition to the NFL after breaking out in Canada.
He has now worked out for sixteen NFL teams, so the Chargers clearly aren’t the only team intrigued at the moment.
