If you were waiting for more hints as to the type of offense the Chargers are expected to run under Brandon Staley, here’s another one.
On Thursday morning, ESPN’s 49ers beat writer Nick Wagoner reported that the Chargers are expected to hire San Francisco quarterback coach Shane Day as their new passing-game coordinator. Day will also continue to coach quarterbacks with the Bolts.
Prior to his time in San Francisco, Day was the tight ends coach for the Dolphins from 2016-2018. Before that, he was an assistant offensive line coach for Washington during the 2014 and 2015 seasons.
