In this conversation with Nick Hardwick and Judson Richards of Xtra 1360 Fox Sports Radio, San Diego Chargers general manager Tom Telesco was asked if the team had made a decision on head coach Mike McCoy’s future beyond this season.
Telesco basically sidestepped the question, saying that McCoy had coached the team hard this season. However, Telesco did not commit to McCoy being around after the season is over. McCoy’s contract runs through the 2017 season.
“We obviously have a lot of work to do when the season concludes to assess where we are and where we’re going,” Telesco said.
