SAN DIEGO -- A month before a November public vote, the San Diego Chargers have a lot of heavy lifting to do in order to convince city voters to support the team’s stadium plan.
According to the latest ABC 10 News San Diego/San Diego Union-Tribune poll conducted by SurveryUSA, 41 percent of city voters are certain to vote against the Chargers’ Measure C.
According to the poll, 36 percent are certain to vote for the initiative, while 23 percent remain unsure.
That means the Chargers will have to sway all 23 percent of uncertain voters, along with 8 percent of those firmly against in order to get the two-thirds approval required for the initiative to pass.
