Chargers first-round pick Mike Williams prepared for 'next level'

ANAHEIM, Calif. -- While he has not faced NFL competition, Los Angeles Chargers receiver Mike Williams faced the best college football had to offer while at Clemson and passed that test with flying colors.

Williams totaled six receptions for 96 yards against Ohio State last year -- that's against a Buckeyes defense that included two cornerbacks selected in the first round of this year's draft in Marshon Lattimore and Gareon Conley.

In the national championship game against Alabama, Williams finished with nine receptions for 84 yards and a score, helping the Tigers defeat the Crimson Tide in a come-from-behind victory.
