The Chargers ended the preseason 1-2 by beating the Cowboys 26-19 on Saturday afternoon behind a massive defensive effort that included five interceptions among their six takeaways on the day. The offense also finally got into the end zone — twice in this game — but overall was a bit sluggish outside of the two scoring plays that both exceeded over 70 yards.
Easton Stick threw a 78-yard score to Simi Fehoko, but otherwise was 11-of-28 for 109 yards and his third pick of the preseason. Did he do enough to stay the backup to Justin Herbert? We’ll know here soon enough.
