The hiring of Jim Harbaugh and the eventful offseason for the Chargers leading up to the regular season opener has had the fan base living large. Expectations — no matter how reserved — have still been fairly high and the vibes around the team have been exquisite. Rootin’ tootin’, even.
When we did last week’s SB Nation’s Reacts poll, we had 92 percent of participants say they were confident in the direction of the Chargers. Now after the team’s 22-10 win over the Raiders, that number has risen to 97 percent.
That’s pretty dang good!
Will a win over the Panthers and a 2-0 start — potentially the team’s first since 2012 — get us to that 100 percent mark?
