The Chargers have been the point of many trade talks over the past few weeks as star running back Melvin Gordon continues his training camp holdout. Some will say trade him for a high draft pick, and others speculate the team could even acquire a player for him. Though the Chargers have offered him what is reportedly a reasonable contract (guarantees unknown), Gordon and his camp have not budged.
But not all trade discussions need to feature high-profile players, and this organization has not been known to make blockbuster trades under general manager Tom Telesco. Under Telesco, the Chargers have made three player-for-pick trade transactions, each for a seventh-round draft pick.
