COSTA MESA, Calif. -- The Los Angeles Chargers received some clarity on the injury front regarding defensive end Joey Bosa.
A source told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Bosa visited with foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson on Wednesday, and that he has a bone bruise in his injured left foot. Bosa is not expected to play Sunday on the road against the Buffalo Bills, the source said.
The Chargers ruled out Bosa for last week's season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs due to the left foot injury. Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn said last week that Bosa's foot was not broken, and he would be week-to-week.
