Sunday’s exhibition with the 49ers may have ended in a loss but that doesn’t mean we can’t find a more than a few notable performances.
For today’s discussion, I want to hear about who you felt performed admirably against the Niners despite “playing up.” By that, I simply mean that most of the Bolts who played were backups going up against a number of the 49ers’ actual starters.
Besides from the obvious standout performance of Easton Stick, I really liked what I saw from linebacker Nick Niemann.
Yeah, yeah, he struggled on two separate plays where he allowed a big gain and and the NIners’ first touchdown, but he led the team once again with eight tackles and was constantly around the ball.
