On Thursday during a meeting between NFL owners, the decision to sell advertisement space along the first eight rows of seating at stadiums went through. Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, seats will be have covers pulled over with various logos scattered throughout.
Among other things discussed at the meeting, the owners also decided to keep the training camp report date in line with what was set in the latest CBA, which was July 28. However, rookies and select veterans on new teams may have the opportunity to report earlier.
Commissioner Roger Goodell was also on the call and did his best to assure the owners, and fans, that the plan right now is to start on time, in our home stadiums, with some semblance of fan attendance.
