Late last week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the NFLPA board of representatives took to a vote to decide how the union wanted to proceed with the NFL’s preseason slate. Earlier in the week, it was reported that the NFL was planning on cutting the exhibition schedule in half by eliminating the firth and fourth preseason games for each team while shuffling things around in order to make sure every club would play at least one home game.
The NFLPA’s vote was unanimously in favor of canceling the entire slate of preseason games. As of right now, nothing has been made official and there’s no current speculation about which way the final decision is leaning.
