When the present isn’t that great for NFL teams, it’s nice to be able to find a silver-lining or two that makes the future look bright. Young talent and player’s who haven’t hit their peak years yet are an easy way for future expectations to grow. If you’re the Chargers, you have plenty of these things thanks in large part to a wealth of young talent on the roster, most of which hasn’t even played more than a season or two.
Recently, wide receiver Mike Williams was named the Chargers’ “most-promising building block” by Bleacher Report’s Gary Davernport, who recently posted a piece highlighting a young player from each of the 32 NFL teams for the same accolade.
