Following Wednesday’s practice, safety JT Woods spoke with the media at length about his potential at outside cornerback, a position in which he’s been working on at the behest of the coaching staff.
Woods is currently the team’s fourth safety if you believe the current hype behind AJ FInley’s play this summer. Woods has barely seen the field since being drafted in the third round of the 2022 draft and it seems the coaching staff is exhausting all options before finally deciding if Woods isn’t part of this team’s future. At 6’2 and over 200 pounds, Woods does possess elite speed to go with size and length that’s ideal for outside corner.
