Here is a quarter-by-quarter recap of Sunday’s Chargers-Colts game in Indianapolis:
FIRST QUARTER
Colts 10, Chargers 0
Key plays: Hard to pick one, since so many went against the Chargers. They gave up passes of 14 and 18 yards on the Colts’ opening FG drive, plus Melvin Ingram jumped offside on a third-down play. Tyrell Williams dropped a sure first-down pass on San Diego’s first possession, and then a 24-yard pass to T.Y. Hilton and crucial penalties against Denzel Perryman and Corey Liuget set up a 6-yard TD run by Frank Gore that made it 10-0.
