According to a report by NFL insider Adam Schefter on Friday afternoon, the Chargers are currently attempting to shop right guard Trai Turner ahead of this year’s free agency period. Turner was acquired prior to the 2020 season via a trade with the Panthers that sent former left tackle Russell Okung to Carolina.
During his six-year tenure with the Panthers, Turner was nominated to the Pro Bowl in his first five professional seasons. In his lone year thus far with the Bolts, Turner struggled with a lingering groin injury that limited him to just nine starts.
