After the Chargers seemingly settled on eight candidates for their head coaching vacancy, it’s being reported that former Florida/Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer has been in talks with the team in recent days.
Meyer, 56, stepped down at Ohio State following the 2018 season after winning three Big Ten Conference Championships and a College Football Playoff National Championship. He was the developer of countless first-round and future NFL players, including the Chargers’ very own Joey Bosa, his brother Nick, and other budding stars in Washington receiver Terry McLaurin and Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore.
