Chargers' Anthony Lynn on roster cuts: Consistent performers wanted

COSTA MESA, Calif. -- During his 17 years as an assistant coach in the National Football League, Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn had some time to develop his own set of values for determining what players should be kept on his team's final, 53-man roster.

And for the first time in his coaching career, Lynn will get an opportunity to put those factors into motion when the Chargers make final roster cuts from 90 players to 53 on Saturday.

Here are the five things Lynn outlined that go into deciding if the team will keep a player:
