Following the trade by the Jets to reunite wideout Davante Adams with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, rumblings began almost instantaneous how the move could potentially affect the future of former Charger Mike Williams in New York. Adding Adams pushed Williams further down the depth chart to WR4 and it’s just not realistic for him to be a part of an offense that also likes utilizing tight end Tyler Conklin and running back Breece Hall and Braelon Allen.
So what’s going to happen?
Per insider Dianna Russini on Thursday morning, a number of teams have already inquired to the Jets about Williams, including the Chargers.
