The Chargers are running it back with center Bradley Bozeman as the team has reported a multi-year extension for last year’s starter at the pivot. The team announced the move alongside their extension for punter J.K. Scott which was reported on earlier Monday.
Bozeman returning to the Chargers may come as a surprise to those who believed the team would attempt to upgrade the position following an underwhelming season by all three interior positions up front. Per Pro Football Focus, Bozeman recorded an overall season grade of 61.0, good for 24th among all 32 centers who played at least 500 snaps this past season.
