The Chargers have finally made a signing involving an external free agent!

According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, former Panthers and Steelers cornerback Donte Jackson is signing a two-year, $13 million deal to join the Chargers. The 29-year old will now join a young cornerback room for the Bolts that features 2024 rookies Tarheeb Still and Cam Hart.

The 5’10, 180-pound Jackson enjoyed a career year with the Steelers during the 2024 season as he hauled in a career-high five interceptions to go with eight pass breakups in 15 starts for the team.
