Could the Chargers really go back to the wide receiver well with a high-round pick for the third time in as many years?
ESPN’s Matt Miller believes that could be the case in his latest 2025 first-round mock draft that has the Chargers taking a swing on Evan Stewart, a former Aggie, now-Oregon Duck wideout who is hoping for a more productive finish to his career than his previous two seasons after joining Texas A&M as the top receiver recruit in the 2022 high school class.
“A look at the Chargers’ depth chart right now shows question marks throughout the wide receiver room, where rookie Ladd McConkey will be asked to make an immediate contribution,” says Miller.
