On Tuesday afternoon, the announced the activate of safety JT Woods from the non-football injury list. Woods has been off the active roster since Week Three’s contest against the Vikings and it remains a mystery as to what forced him to miss so much time with the team.
In two corresponding moves, the Chargers have waived wide receiver Simi Fehoko and signed running back Elijah Dotson to the practice squad.
Woods was originally selected by the Chargers in the third round of the 2022 NFL draft out of Baylor. He led the Big 12 in interceptions as a senior with six and the Chargers took him a bit earlier than most analysts would have due to his elite speed and range for the position.
