Jaelen Gill was born and raised in Westerville, Ohio where he enjoyed quite the prolific career as an athlete at Westerville South High School. On the gridiron, Gill earned a four-star rating and was viewed as a too-30 prospect in the country by both 247Sports and ESPN. Rivals also had him as the No. 2 all-purpose back in the nation and No. 2 prospect in the state of Ohio.
Off the gridiron, Gill was an elite baseball player and also a member of his school’s 4x100 meter relay team that set a school record his senior year. Following his senior season of high school football, Gill was named an Army All-American.
