Linebacker Nick Vigil was one of the four main free agent signings by the Chargers this offseason, joining defensive tackle Linval Joseph, offensive tackle Bryan Bulaga, and cornerback Chris Harris. While probably the least exciting of the three, Vigil offers a combination of youth and starting experience that any team would welcome on their roster.
Vigil is a native of Plain City, Utah and played his prep ball at Fremont High School. As a senior, Vigil rushed for 1,309 yards and 11 touchdowns to go along with 300 receiving yards.
