Daiyan Henley is a proud native of the Crenshaw area in Los Angeles, California. He starred at Crenshaw High School where he was named a City MVP and helped his team become Los Angeles Coliseum League Champions during his prep career.
Henley stayed out near the west coast by committing to play for the Nevada Wolfpack. He saw the field right away as a receiver where he caught eight passes for 103 yards and three touchdowns. The following year, he caught nine more passes for 129 yards with zero scores. After missing most of the 2020 season due to injury, Henley redshirted and chose to make the transition to linebacker.
