The Clayton, North Carolina native didn’t need to go far from his hometown to continue his collegiate career as Savion Jackson chose to attend North Carolina State and become a member of the Wolfpack.
Jackson played in just eight games as a freshman, paying mainly in garbage time. He totaled just eight tackles and a single tackle for loss. His playing time was upped to 12 games in 2020 where he notched 20 total tackles, two tackles for loss, and a lone sack. He set a new career high with 23 tackles during the 2021 season but managed just 1.
