The anticipation is almost over, football once again is here. For the 2016 San Diego Chargers, it is a chance to finally put to bed all of the problems from last year. Many questions are still unanswered with this team but with a new season comes a fresh start. A blank page.
There is reason for optimism despite what is being predicted by the national (and much of the local) media. (Recent NFL.com power rankings has the Chargers ranked at 29/32) The offseason brought a lot of new exciting things to watch this year. The return of Offensive Coordinator Ken Whisenhunt, key additions in free agency including Travis Benjamin and Brandon Mebane, and drafting the hopeful face of the franchise on defense Joey Bosa.
