Former first-round pick Bud Dupree, an edge rusher previously with the Atlanta Falcons, has signed a two-year, $6 million with the Los Angeles Chargers, per multiple reports. ESPN reported that Dupree had also been in talks with the Steelers, who drafted him, and the Falcons.
Dupree represents a solid depth piece for the team, playing behind Khalil Mack, Joey Bosa and Tuli Tuipulotu. Given the age and injury history of their starting two edge rushers, it makes sense for the Chargers to continue investing in the position so that their rotation can be more complete.
