Good afternoon.
Updating the Stadium Game...
Councilwoman Barbara Bry looms as a tough sell should the Chargers try to woo City Hall in their quest for new stadium subsidy now that San Diego voters have defeated Measure C.
Bry told the Union-Tribune editorial board last spring that she’s against using any taxpayer money for the Chargers, and she also took a skeptical view of the prospect of a Chargers move to greater Los Angeles.
Her anti-subsidy stance drew scorn from paid commentators on the Chargers’ flagship radio station, 1360 AM, but the District 1 representative held firm this week after winning office by a large margin, 65.
