Along with cornerback and the occasional edge player, the Chargers have mostly been connected to various offensive tackle prospects, including Stanford’s Walker Little and North Dakota State’s Dillon Radunz. Oregon’s Penei Sewell is the creme de la creme of the OT crop this year, but the Bolts would likely need a top-three pick in the draft to come away with Juston Herbert’s former blindside protector.
But here’s another name to keep an eye on this draft season: Northwestern left tackle Rashawn Slater.
CBS Sports’ Chris Trapasso had the Bolts selecting Slater with the sixth-overall pick as the second offensive lineman off the board.
