A lot of these pre-draft meetings we hear about most often are the ones involving lesser-known names of the draft class. Of course the team is also meeting with top prospects, but it’s the ones from mid-major programs and Group of 5 schools that need some extra work done on them as sometimes there are those that go unnoticed due to lack of school brand power.
In that vein, the Chargers recently met with University of Massachusetts offensive tackle Larnel Coleman, per The Draft Network’s Justin Melo. Coleman most recently participated in the College Gridiron Showcase, one of the nation’s few postseason all-star events.
