Best remaining players for the Chargers on Day 2 of the NFL Draft

The Chargers let the first round draft board come to them and ultimately they chose to stick and pick at No. 22 by selecting All-American running back Omarion Hampton out of the University of North Carolina. It was never going to be a surprise to see the Bolts pick a running back at some point in this year’s draft but there were likely some shocked at the use of a first-rounder on the position many deem not valuable enough to warrant a premium draft slot.

Those people, in my opinion, should relax. In a very strong draft class, Hampton was considered upwards of a top-15 prospect in this draft class.
