SAN DIEGO – The Chargers found another way to lose a game, this one a 22-19 setback at the hands of the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football.
San Diego appeared in control, leading 16-7 at halftime. But injuries, penalties and overall poor play once again proved too much for the Chargers to overcome.
The Bears took their only lead of the game on a one-handed grab for a touchdown by tight end Zach Miller for 25 yards with just over three minutes remaining.
With the loss, the Chargers dropped their fifth straight game of the season, falling to 2-7.
