Just like everyone predicted right?
After the first two weeks of the 2018 season, the highest-graded running back in the NFL by Pro Football Focus is none other than former undrafted free agent Austin Ekeler. His grade of 89.8 is just sliver under the threshold for “elite” (90+) and is a full 10 points ahead of the next closest back, the 49ers’ Matt Breida who comes in at 79.2.
Ekeler has a chance to become the first undrafted RB with five or more TD catches in his first two seasons since 1966 (had three last year as a rookie and one this season).
