Lately on local sports-radio shows, some hosts talk as if they know something the rest of San Diego doesn’t.
They say it looks like City Hall will green-light a soccer stadium development plan for the Qualcomm Stadium site.
Short of painting the outcome as a fait accompli, they imply the deal will happen although hard details of the plan may not emerge until this week.
The predictions come just two weeks after plan supporters, including elected officials, made the rounds of the stations, notably 1090 AM.
Something stinks here, if talks indeed are this advanced.
