The Chargers fell to 2-2 after dropping a 17-10 decision at home to the Chiefs. They enter the bye with plenty of injuries and wounds to rehab ahead of Week Six’s road trip to Denver.
Defensively, this was another stellar performance. Offensively, it was another pretty forgettable showing. The team knows where it needs to do better and it knows where they’re strong. It’ll be interested to see if there are any notable changes to the team/lineup when they come out of the bye.
With that said, here are my winners and losers from Chargers-Chiefs.
Winners
WR Ladd McConkey
McConkey enjoyed the best game of his young career against the Chiefs as hauled in five receptions for 67 yards and the team’s only touchdown on the day, all of which paced the Chargers.
