The Chargers moved to 3-2 on the season and 2-1 in the AFC West thanks to a strong performance on the road against the Broncos. The passing attack looked revitalized while the running game showed life once again.
Next up is another road game in Arizona against the Cardinals on Monday Night Football.
Here are this week’s winners and singular loser from this week’s win over the Broncos.
Winners
QB Justin Herbert
Justin Herbert set a season high passing yards through the first half with 184. That momentum did not carry into the second half due to the team going conservative in an attempt to milk the clock, but his 237 yards were the most this season and a sign that maybe there will be brighter days going forward for the passing attack.
