3 Chargers rookies who have stood out after 2 weeks of training camp

With the veterans and starters not getting as many live reps through training camp thus far, the rookies have gotten a bump in opportunities to impress the coaching staff. Several of the team’s rookies that were selections on day three of this year’s draft have been some of the most impressive, showing signs that Joe Hortiz and the scouting department did a heck of a job.

Overall, here are three rookies that deserve some extra praise for their performance through the first two weeks of training camp.

CB Tarheeb Still

The first of the two cornerbacks picked by the Chargers in the fifth round, Still ended the team’s Thursday evening practice with a huge defensive takeaway in which he undercut a throw to an out route by Easton Stick en route to sprinting the ball all the way back for a pick six.
