3 burning questions for the Chargers entering the bye week

The Chargers are 2-2. They began the year with wins over the Raiders and Panthers before dropping back-to-back games against the Steelers and Chiefs.

Injuries and a lack of offensive consistency tell the story of the 0-2 slide. Once the Chargers lost left tackle Rashawn Slater just after halftime in Pittsburgh, the wheels not only fell off, they immediately burst into flames and rocketed into the sun, especially following Joe Alt’s injury near the end of that same game.

When Slater is out, the Chargers haven’t been able to run the ball. With both him and Alt absent, Herbert was pressured on over half his dropbacks against Kansas City.
