Trying to make an NFL team as an undrafted free agent is somewhat similar to trying to make a mark on a college team after being a walk-on. For former Kansas State receiver Dalton Schoen, he’s trying to accomplish both.
As a high-school prep for Blue Valley Northwest High School in Overland Park, Kansas, Schoen broke multiple single-game records, including the state record for yards in a game (380) and yards in the state’s all-star shrine game (169). In 2015, Schoen was named Kansas’ Male Scholar Athlete of the Year and finished as one of six finalists for Wendy’s High School Heisman after earning straight-A’s all through high school.
