There’s a legitimate chance that the Chargers do not re-sign Denzel Perryman this offseason which means that an already shallow position group will get much thinner. If Perryman were to find better pastures somewhere else, that would leave the team with 2018 starters Jatavis Brown and Kyzir White, both of whom finished the year on IR, and a number of pedestrian players at the position, including Hayes Pullard and Nick Dzubnar.
I wouldn’t be too surprised to see the Chargers double-dip into the talent pool this year with a number of excellent linebackers that should be available early on day 3 of the draft.
