The 2015 NFL Draft has reached its conclusion, and it's time to look back on just what the San Diego Chargers did in Chicago and how it sets them up for the future. Here's our Grades And Analysis Of The San Diego Chargers' Entire 2015 NFL Draft.
Picks:
(All player grades based on spot selected, need, etc.)
1st Round: Wisconsin RB Melvin Gordon [Grade: A]
2nd Round: Miami ILB Denzel Perryman [Grade: B+]
3rd Round: Texas State CB Craig Mager [Grade: B]
5th Round: North Dakota State OLB Kyle Emanuel [Grade: A-]
6th Round: Arkansas DT Darius Philon [Grade: C]
Overall Grade: B/B-
The Melvin Gordon pick both major explosiveness and needed balance to the Chargers' offense and Denzel Perryman may prove that speed doesn't matter, but the lack of picks this year cost the Bolts a chance to address their offensive line or their need for another piece in the wide receiving corps. It's a thin draft behind Gordon, but Gordon's good enough to keep this boat afloat.
