San Diego Chargers starting quarterback Philip Rivers hasn't been listed on the team's injury report at any point during the 2014 NFL season.
However, that doesn't mean that he's doing well from a health perspective.
Per Mike Wilkening of NBC's Pro Football Talk, "after the Chargers’ 13-7 win vs. the Raiders on Sunday, tight end Antonio Gates said Rivers has “been dealing with a rib injury, a very severe rib injury, so he’s been toughing it out these last three or four weeks,” according to Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune."
Rivers was visibly shaken up on two different occasions in the second half of Sunday's contest, with the team's medical staff checking both his left knee during the third quarter and his ribs during the fourth.
However, he didn't miss a single play, telling the Union-Tribune that he's “no more banged up than other” NFL quarterbacks at this juncture of the season.
