The Angels announced a series of roster moves prior to Monday's game against the Astros in Houston. The Halos placed right-hander Blake Wood on the 10-day disabled list with a right elbow posterior impingement, recalled righty Eduardo Paredes from Triple-A Salt Lake and added pitcher Justin Anderson to the Major League roster.
Wood, 32, made 13 relief appearances this season (11 2/3 innings), throwing to a 2.31 ERA. The Angels acquired him off waivers from the Reds this past August.
Paredes will rejoin the Angels' bullpen just one day after he was optioned to Salt Lake to make room for pitcher Jaime Barria, who started Sunday's finale against the Giants.
